Deep in Thought....Starring Adam

Adam

I can just hear Adam now in the throes of this intense conversation:

"...I don't know what to do about Ron. I mean, I'm trying to tutor him in advanced photoshop techniques...but I'm not sure how successful this will be. I mean, if we can just get him to learn how to turn the computer on, that would be a start..."

In all seriousness, it was great to rendezvous at The Black Iguana with my good friend Adam, who came for a visit last week. Adam is from Poland! But now comes to us by way of St. Cloud Minnesota. We met several years ago when he was a student in the Photography Department at Minot State. I am proud to know this brilliant, fellow artiste.

Adam and I are great connoisseurs of all things artsy and cultural and cool, such as thoughtful Polish films. May we recommend to you "The Double Life of Veronique" or the "Blue", "White" and "Red" trilogy...available now on the foreign film shelf of your friendly neighborhood video store! Watch it with a fine glass of Polish spirits!! (in moderation, of course)

This good friend of mine has also taught me the value of garnering a Polish accent in order to make the ladies swoon and gush! It obviously worked for Adam...he is engaged to be married this summer!!

Next time, we forgo intense, cerebral photographs of Adam for light-hearted, spontaneous ones. Now, in the meantime, if I can just figure out how to turn that darn computer on...
